CENSOR ME, I DARE YOU

Late 2021, during my ‘Nudes & Rudes’ series, I realised that drippy hearts over the nips avoided getting flagged by social platforms. By Xmas I had the idea of having a collective of artists ‘censor’ my tits in their own style, making a statement about censorship & sticking two fingers at a society that frowns hypocritically at the female form.

We gained 100 artists over the festive period, then with a viral video, gained a further 150+ artists within 24 hours. Within 4 weeks the maximum artist slots available were full, not a bad achievement for my tiny tits…

Each artist selected a charity of their choosing, with a % of profits split. Total donations, to over 100+ charities globally, hit over £6000.

The movement gained the attention of regional news, multiple & Rankin’s Creative Team which led to inclusion in their ‘UNSEEN” campaign and exhibition at Quantus Gallery, London.

• Pop-up exhibition at 10 Quaker St, Shoreditch, London - Friday 4th March 2022

• ‘An Evening with Holly Inks’ at 40 Market St, Loughborough - Friday 18th March 2022

• Open Gallery at 40 Market St, Loughborough - Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th March 2022. 10-5pm.

All events were FREE entry.
